At St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Prayer and Liturgy are at the heart of school life, nurturing pupils’ relationship with God and encouraging them to live out the school mission to Love, Learn and Grow together with Jesus. Opportunities for prayer are woven throughout each day through class prayers, worship, reflection and prayer within RE lessons. Pupils take an active role in preparing and leading acts of worship, supported by Faith Leaders, and regularly participate in Masses, assemblies and liturgical celebrations throughout the Church’s year. A dedicated prayer space provides a calm and welcoming environment where pupils can pause, reflect, pray and deepen their faith, helping them to encounter Christ and develop spiritually both individually and as part of the school community.
